How the review works

From the free check to the report in your hands — here is the whole process, told the same way our live tracker tells it.

  1. 1 · The free check

Two minutes of questions. We tell you honestly whether this review can help — and if your situation needs different help (death-penalty cases, cases still on appeal, federal convictions), we say so and point you somewhere better. No payment, no account.

  2. 2 · You collect the documents

After purchase, your checklist shows every document we look for, with a plain-words note on who to ask for each one. Upload at your own pace — PDFs, phone photos, or one ZIP with everything. We recognize each document and check it off for you. Uploading is free and unlimited; take the weeks you need.

  3. 3 · We read every page

When you say your records are complete, the clock starts: our report is due within 10 business days. The system turns every page into searchable text — decades-old scans included — and counts pages honestly: duplicates never count against you.

  4. 4 · The analysis runs its checks

World-class AI built for Texas post-conviction review reads the full record and runs six checks: trial mistakes your lawyer objected to, how the defense lawyer did their job, evidence the State may not have turned over, discredited science, sentencing problems, and jury selection. You can watch each check finish live on your tracker.

  5. 5 · Quality gates, then your report

Before anything reaches you, every quoted line is re-verified word-for-word against your actual documents — anything that doesn’t match exactly is thrown out. Automated quality gates review the whole report; anything suspicious is held for human review first, and we tell you if that happens. Then you get Part A in plain English and Part B built for an attorney, on the web and as a PDF.

What arrives, exactly

Part A — for your family

What we found, in plain words: what each finding means, how strong it looks, and what a lawyer would want to know about it. If we found nothing worth pursuing, Part A says that plainly too.

Part B — for the lawyer

The same findings in attorney form: every claim tied to page and line, ready to hand over so the lawyer you hire starts informed instead of starting over.

After the report

Your documents and report stay in your account to read, download, and share. If you find new documents later, a fresh analysis that includes them is $99. And what to do next — choosing and briefing an attorney — is exactly what the report was built to make easier.
